“Kids Con was so much fun! My kids were having so much fun that they were so well behaved and focused. This event was both family and sensory friendly and never lost focus from the kids. The characters were great and kid oriented and involved with my kids everytime we would meet a new one or reencounter another. The price was great for both entry and vendors. The activities were spot on and it was well organized so you had an opportunity to do something later if you missed it the first time around. We only planned to stay a couple hours and we stayed for 6, we can’t wait until next year!”

“I have a toddler and preteen and they both had fun. Best family event we have been to this year. It was also fun for me as an artist and my older son who also is an artist was wishing this event was every weekend. My toddler still has his monkey balloon as his current best toy. I give you 10/10 stars.”

“A great family fun event! Lots of amazing artwork to be seen from comic book artists there, lots of fun kid activities, and a great turn out of families in costumes! We particularly liked the board game room where attendees could try out unreleased board games and even sometimes purchase them! Our group of kids really enjoyed this! Overall it was a wonderful and unique way to spend the day with the family. Highly recommend! Great location too right off of the main road, easy to find and ample parking. Lodging onsite and plenty to do within a short driving distance if you wish to make a weekend of it!”

“As soon as you walk in there are multitudes of cosplayers, all smiling and taking pictures with wide-eyed children who are over the moon as they meet their superhero idols. With activities such as a Jedi Training, the Royal Academy, and a Pirate Camp (not to mention Ghost-busting Fun, face-painting, a costume contest, and a Magical Sing-Along and Story Time), it’s no wonder that the amazement and energy permeate the halls. And that is comic book artist & Kids Con creator Emily’s favorite part. “I love seeing kids light up when they discover new comics and seeing their creativity in workshops. We’re inspiring the next generation of comic book creators!”

“Kids Con was truly a joy! There were activities for my son who is 9 and for me. There were also items for sale that ranged from art all the way to science. The events offered were upbeat and I learned something everywhere we went. The Jedi training, Pirates Cove, and Pokémon tournament were our favorite and kept us engaged and bouncing all over. My son and I definitely want to come back next year!”

There’s something for all age groups: princess academy, Q&A with superheroes (my 8-year-old son loved that!!), tons of vendors and characters of all kinds. The event venue was great too – with kid-friendly and inexpensive food options as well. We can’t wait for next year!!”

“Kids Con New England is unlike any comic book convention I have ever attended. The organizer of the event did an amazing job putting this together. There was a sizable vendors room, which was laid-out and set-up very nicely. There were kid-themed panels and activities from start to finish. You could have your face painted or get a balloon animal. The program handout was AMAZING (complete with kids activities like a word search featuring all of the attending artists’ creations). And the costume contest was heartwarming to watch. The event was well organized, and very well attended, thanks to Emily’s hard work, thoughtfulness, and excellent promotional campaign. The Kids Con staff and cosplayers were very helpful and always nice. We need more cons like this one in this world. We can’t wait to go back next year!”
