Creative Workshops:

(Art supplies provided. No signups required, first come basis til seats are filled and supplies last. Bringing your own sketchbook is encouraged.)

• 10:10 – 10:45 – Cartooning with Tim Jones! Join cartoonist Tim Jones for this fun intro to cartooning drawing workshop where you’ll learn how to draw Aesop from the comic strip, Sour Grapes!  (For all ages) 

• 11:00 – 11:45 – Puppetry Workshop with Homeslice Puppetry! Create a puppet and learn puppetry in this fun workshop! Up to 30 participants, first come basis (Ages 5 and up)

• 11:55 – 12:30 – Mr. Rogers Puppet Show with Alex Jordan! Welcome to the neighborhood! Sing-along, play with puppets, and learn with Mr. Rogers characters (For all ages)

• 12:50 – 1:30 – Character Design with Mark Parisi, award-winning cartoonist and writer of Off the Mark comic strip and Marty Pants book series!
  Follow along as Mark demonstrates his step by step process on how to draw the Marty Pants characters, including Jerome the cat! (For all ages)

• 1:40 – 2:20 – Draw Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with Jim Lawson: Learn how to draw TMNT characters by TMNT comic artist & author, Jim Lawson! (For all ages)

• 2:30 – 3:10 – Draw Along with Scott SanGiacomo: Learn to draw fun cartoon characters using basic shapes! (For all ages)

• 3:20 – 4:10 – Watercolor Painting with Sue Greco: Create a spring-themed watercoloring painting of a mouse and flower! Up to 12 participants, first come basis (Ages 5 & up)

• 4:20 – 4:55 – Draw Peanizles with Cartoonist Don Mathias:  Learn to draw characters from the Peanizles comic strip in this fun cartooning workshop! (All ages)

Arts & Crafts:

• 10:00 – 5:00 – Coloring Fun! – Coloring and activity pages available all day, while supplies last!

• 10:00 – 12:30 – Art Contest – (ages 4-8 and 9-13)  Show off your art skills! Complete a coloring page or original drawing, write your name and age on the back, and enter it in the marked bin to win prizes! Winners announced at 12:40pm, pick up prize at the Kids Con Check-in/Tickets booth by the entrance.

• 10:00 – 5:00 – Mask Making – Fun superhero & character paper craft masks to add to your costume! Available while supplies last!

• 10:00 – 5:00 – Create a Yoda Puppet! – Create an adorable Yoda paper bag puppet, available all day, while supplies last!

• 10:40 – 11:20am – Jedi Training with Calm Passion – Calling all Padawans! Learn the jedi arts! (Ages 5+)

• 11:30 – 12:10 – Sages Entertainment Magic Show! Wayne and Kali perform magic, teach magic lessons and provide STEAM enrichment that captivates people of all ages! Check out their booth for more magic fun & kits!

• 12:20 – 1:05 – The Clemenzi Crusaders Rock Concert! Enjoy rock versions of your favorite theme songs with live drums and guitar! (For all ages)

• 1:10 – 1:45pm – Jedi Training with Rising Storm Training Academy– Calling all Padawans! Learn the jedi arts! (Ages 5+)

• 1:50 – 2:20 – Superheroes Training with the Pine State Heroes, Guardian Legion, Hereoes For Hire NE, Batman, Wonder Woman & more! – Learn what it takes to be a superhero! Meet superheroes, learn about them, practice poses and become a certified superhero! (For all ages)  

• 2:30 – 3:00 – Magical Sing-along and Story-time with Party Palace! Dance, play, sing & enjoy a story with fairytale characters! Check out their booth for more fun & photo ops! (For all ages)

• 3:20 – 4:00 – Kids and Family Costume Contest – Show off your themed costumed family or individual costume and enter to win cool prizes! Must be present during contest to win. Sign up at the Kids Con check-in booth by the entrance. (For all ages!)

• 10:00 – 5:00 – Artist & Author Alley – Meet Amazing Artists, Authors, Vendors & more! Get awesome autographed books, art and toys to add to your collections! Keep an eye out for Yoshi, Pikachu, Superheroes, Princesses, Star Wars Characters and BB8 rolling around! 🙂

• 10:00 – 5:00 – Scavenger Hunt! – Locate all the creators & exhibitors on the Scavenger Hunt sheet, get their autographs, and bring the completed sheet to the Event Lobby Advanced Tickets Booth to get a prize! *while supplies last.

• 10:00 – 5:00 – Fun Faces with a Twist Balloon Sculptures

Event Entrance Lobby:

• 10:00 – 5:00 – Check-in, Tickets & Merch Booth – Entrance is marked and located at the left side of the building, through the double-doors. Present your tickets & merch email receipts at the Advanced Tickets Booth or purchase them at the show in the Tickets line.

Stepping out is no problem! Simply show your wristbands to re-enter the event!

FOOD CONCESSIONS ON SITE:

• We have a variety of options at the Arena Snack Bar, including pizza, hot dogs, chicken tenders, french fries, wraps, popcorn, ice cream, drinks, as well as vending machines.

• Snacks, water and beverages available in the Snack Bar and vending machines located by the entrance lobby.

  Our event and venue facilities are easily accessible for physically challenged and wheelchair friendly, with lots of free onsite parking and handicap spots available by the event entrance. All event space and activities are located on the main first floor, easily accessible double doors leading directly into the event. Service dogs are welcomed.

• Restrooms
  Bathrooms are easily located near the entrance and are equipped with handicapped stalls.
• Hand Sanitizing Stations
  In Lobby, Workshops, Activity Areas and Restrooms.

Programming is subject to change. All workshops and activities are included with paid admission to the event.
