In order to keep this family event fun and safe for everyone, we have rules regarding conduct, health and safety, costumes and props, and we are following CDC guidelines for indoor events. By attending this event, you acknowledge that you accept and will adhere to our Convention Rules, Health & Safety, Liability Waiver and Medical Acknowledgement:

  • By entering the event, you consent to be photographed and/or videoed.
  • You must wear your wristband or badge clearly visible during the event, with the exception of children under 5 years old.
  • Children must be accompanied and supervised by their adult guardian.
  • COVID vaccination and masks are not required, but recommended. Please wash your hands often, use hand sanitizer and follow recommended health and safety guidelines. Workshop and activity areas will be cleaned frequently and after each session. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own supplies.
  • If you are not feeling well and/or have tested positive for COVID, measles, chicken pox, strep throat, or other infection, please stay at home.
  • Tickets are non-refundable. Tickets can be given to friends or family if you are not able to attend the event.
  • Exhibitor tables are refundable up until 31 days prior to show. Tables are nonrefundable and nontransferable within 30 days prior to show. Please contact us as soon as possible if you are not able to table at the event.
  • No offensive and/or overly revealing attire. If you’re asked to cover up by staff or security, please comply immediately or risk ejection from the convention with no refund.
  • No real weapons or functioning projectiles or props – including guns, crossbows, swords, ninja stars, water pistols, silly-string guns, etc.
  • No fake or realistic prop guns. Only paper, cardboard, or foam made non-projectile prop allowed.
  • No metal or sharp objects that are deemed harmful towards attendees
  • No explosives, fireworks, flash pots, ignited materials, or fog machines.
  • No drones or devices may be flown in or tethered in or around the venue building.
  • No smoking or vaping inside or within 20ft of the building doorways.
  • No harassment. Absolutely no harassment of any kind. Be respectful of everyone or risk permanent rejection from our shows and no refunds.
  • Do not violate any laws.
  • HEALTH & SAFETY INFORMATION:
    While participating in events held or sponsored by Kids Con New England, LLC, “social distancing” and good hygiene must be practiced.  COVID vaccination and face coverings are recommended to reduce the risks of exposure to COVID. Because COVID is extremely contagious and is spread mainly from person-to-person contact, our venue and staff have put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID. However, Kids Con New England, LLC or its venue cannot guarantee that its participants, volunteers, partners, or others in attendance will not become infected with COVID or other illness.
  • DUTY TO SELF-MONITOR:
    Participants and volunteers agree to self-monitor for signs and symptoms of COVID (symptoms typically include fever, cough, and shortness of breath) and contact us at info@kidsconne.com if they experience symptoms of COVID within 3 days prior to participating or volunteering with us.
  • LIABILITY WAIVER AND RELEASE OF CLAIMS, MEDICAL ACKNOWLEDGMENT:
    As a participant, volunteer, or attendee, you acknowledge the health risks associated with the ACTIVITY / EVENT. YOU DO HEREBY RELEASE AND FOREVER DISCHARGE THE RELEASED PARTIES FROM ANY CLAIM WHATSOEVER WHICH ARISES OR MAY HEREAFTER ARISE ON ACCOUNT OF ANY FIRST AID, TREATMENT, OR SERVICE RENDERED IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THE ACTIVITY / EVENT. As a participant, volunteer, or attendee, You recognize that your participation, involvement and/or attendance at any Kids Con New England, LLC event (“Event”) or activity (“Activity”) is voluntary and may result in personal injury, health conditions, personal and/or property damage. By attending, observing or participating in the Event / Activity, You acknowledge and assume all risks and dangers associated with your participation and/or attendance at the Event / Activity, and You agree that: (a) Kids Con New England, LLC. (b) the property / venue or site owner of the Event / Activity, and (c) all past, present and future affiliates, successors, assigns, employees, volunteers, vendors, partners, directors, and officers, of such entities (subsections (a) through (c), collectively, the “Released Parties”), will not be responsible for any personal injury (including death), property damage, or other loss suffered as a result of your participation in, attendance at, and/or observation of the Event / Activity, regardless if any such injuries or losses are caused by the negligence of any of the Released Parties (collectively, the “Released Claims”).  By attending and/or participating in the Event / Activity, you are deemed to have given a full release of liability to the released parties to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Kids Con and its staff, venue, and police security reserve to right to refuse any costume accessory, prop, suspect weapon or person into the show at any time.
