Emely Varosky of Skoshie & Friends is a children’s author, illustrator, and graphic designer based in North Attleboro, Mass. Emely enjoys creating illustrations of memorable characters, including Skoshie the Cat, Zeek the Octopus and Wisp the Dragon! EmVaro Designs whimsical and encouraging original art, canvases, coffee mugs, t-shirts, handmade plushies and more!

Emely began drawing cartoon characters in 2017 as a newlywed and stepmom, using art to navigate the challenges of life. What started as a personal outlet grew into a business, eventually inspiring children’s stories and plush toys. Emely’s favorite medium is small ink illustrations, often brightened with watercolor or markers.
