Nerd Hero is the creation of 14-year-old Christian Francis Rafferty. Christian is an entrepreneur and aspiring mechanical engineer from Massachusetts who solved a problem of his by way of invention! Christian has always been passionate about everything “nerdy”. From comic books and superheroes to robotics and engineering. On a fateful morning in early 2023, Christian was faced with a dilemma, he could not figure out a way to display his favorite comic book with corresponding figurine. The mission was afoot, Christian began the design on what later he would name the “Nerd Shelf” a combination frame and shelf that safely stores a comic book while displaying figurine. After filing for patent and much trial and error, the “Nerd Shelf” has come to fruition with the help of his parents Sean and Krissi. It all started with a sketch he made and turned into a mission.
