Michael and Zara Barryte are the co-creaters of the Obituary comic & animated cartoon series, about a girl raised by ghosts and her adventures among the living and the dead. Watch the cartoon pilot.

Michael Barryte has worked in digital media as lead video edity for comedy juggernaut, Smosh, as well as creative director for The Completionist. He also runs charity events, and has a gone viral multiple times in retelling the Star Wars prequels.

Zara has worked in a variety of fields, including game development, VR, teaching, and works as a surfacing technical director for Dreamworks Animation. Together, Zara and Michael love to travel, hike, and backpack around the globe. They are also members of the improve group, ComedySportz.

Join them in a fun workshop at Kids Con!  In “Improv for Ideas” we’ll use warm up games improv comedians use to help us be more confident and move forward together.  In this workshop, you’ll get a chance to practice making up brand new stories collaboratively. Anyone of any age can enjoy this workshop!
