Hi, I’m Jeff Black. I design games with my co-designer Josh Black. Our specialty is light to medium weight games that kids and families can play together in less than an hour. Within that arena our range is pretty diverse. We have at least as much fun making games as we do playing them, and we’re psyched to share that fun with the rest of the world! Let’s all discover the fun! In addition to designing games, I am an educator and a guitar player in the Boston area.
Our new game, Dragon Hatchlings, was designed by my co-designer Josh when he was 10. It won 4 categories in the recent Board Game Geek Children’s Game Contest, and Josh and I are very excited to share it at our table. In Dragon Hatchlings you play as a kindly dragon racing to help your family’s new eggs hatch. Through a combination of memory, luck, and little ‘take-that’, you’ll be trying to hatch the best group of eggs that you can before your opponents do.
