Children's Fiction Writer
J.L. DuRona is an award-winning children’s fiction writer from Vermont. He has published three books in his spooky middle grade series, The Berge Sisters Tour the Neitherswarth: The Ghosts of Warble Hall, and The Stone Hollow Circle.
J.L. has always loved the whimsical, macabre, and otherworldly. During recess, he would quietly slip away into the woods surrounding his rural elementary school with the latest Goosebumps book in hand and read until the bell rang. He graduated in 2007 from Castleton University with a BA in Children’s Literature. He’s also a cartoonist and received his MFA from the Center for Cartoon Studies in 2011. He lives in Vermont with his wife and three cats.
When Lacey and Cal accidentally let loose a hoard of mischievous monsters in their great uncle’s creepy old mansion, they’ll have to cross the very veil of reality to get rid of them!
Ever since Lacey and Cal’s adventure through the Neitherswarth, the two stepsisters have never been closer. But when Cal comes to visit Lacey at St. Agatha’s Boarding School for Girls, Lacey can’t help but feel nervous. She wants to embrace her new family, but would doing so betray her late mother’s memory?
When Lacey and Cal travel to Stone Hollow to investigate an enigmatic artifact, they get more than they bargained for when they run afoul of a sinister force that harbors a very old (and very dark) secret!
