Adam Wallenta is an author, illustrator, editor, and educator with nearly 30 years of experience in comics, working with companies like Marvel, DC, and Skyhorse Publishing. He founded American Mule Entertainment in 1997, publishing titles like the Public Enemy comic series and the Adventures of Geo series, which was funded by the National Science Foundation. Adam’s latest project is the award-winning Punk Taco graphic novel series, co-created with his son, Makana. Punk Taco Volume 1 won the 2019 Ringo Award for Best Kids Comic, and Volume 2 was nominated for a Ringo Award in 2023. Adam also works as an editor at Papercutz/Mad Cave Studios on titles like The Smurfs, Flash Gordon Adventures, Herobear, Three Thieves and more.

Makana Wallenta, co-creator of Punk Taco and co-host of the Little Kids Big Kids YouTube channel, is currently working on Volume 3 of the series.
