Here’s Important Check-in Info, Table Assignments, Schedule & Fun Stuff!

Set-up & Check-in:

Fri May 10th: 1:30pm – 6pm
Sat May 11th: 7:30am – 9:30am

(Online ticket holders early entry at 9:40am)

Staff & Volunteers: Please arrive between 7:30am – 9:00am on event day.

Tables are being setup early Friday morning, and will be ready for exhibitors at 1:30pm Friday.

Event entrance located at the north park side of the building. Follow signage, enter through double-doors or bay loading doors. Additional loading at doors around building.

Check-in at the Kids Con Booth and sign our event poster! You can then proceed to your table located on the Event Map. View Event Print Program.

Your exhibitor name badge and wristbands for your table buddies will be at your assigned tables. If you need help finding it, we’d be happy to assist, we’ll be wearing Kids Con Staff badges. Tables and chairs are provided, but you will need to bring your own tablecloth.

Additional passes can be purchased online or at the door.


Parking:

Free on-site parking. You may park for a short time in the upper parking area to check-in and unload, but we kindly ask that you move your car to one of the lower spots or by the park to make it more convenient and accessible for attendees. Additional overflow parking available at the park and surrounding businesses. 


Activities & Workshops:

We greatly appreciate all who reached out to present an activity! As much as we’d love to include all, we have limited time on this fun packed day.

Please see our Event Schedule for assigned presenters and times.  

If you are participating in an activity or workshop, please arrive at least 5 minutes prior to the start of the activity. Let a staff member know if you need someone to watch your table during the activity, or can kindly ask the person tabling next to you if they could watch your table. 

Workshop supplies provided: white paper, colored construction paper, cardstock, paper bags, paper plates, pencils, colored pencils, crayons, rulers, hole punchers, safety scissors, tape, school glue, fabric glue, whiteboards with markers, erasers and whiteboard cleaner. Please let us know if there’s something in particular not listed here that you need. 


Scavenger Hunt:

Printed in our event program. The kids will locate the books, creators & more, check off when found, and they may ask for your signature. They bring the completed list to the front Kids Con booth for a prize! (while supplies last)


Kids & Family Costume Contest:

Prizes for best kids, best family, and most original. Signups for kids & families to participate in the costume contests located at the Kids Con Booth. The contest will be held at 2:30pm in the Performances area, see Event Print Program.

ATM & Banking:

ATM located next to the Snack Bar, through the double doors exit way.

Several banks are located nearby within a mile from the venue: Bar Harbor Bank (across the street), Citizens Bank, Bank of America, TD Bank, NBT Bank, Bank of NH, Northway Bank, Merrimack County Bank, Eastern Bank and more.


WIFI Internet:

Free open WIFI. Select the Arena Wifi to connect. No password is required.  If you experience connectivity issues, offline modes are available for Square and most card readers that allow you to still conduct sales, will process payments when connectivity is re-established. Let us know if you are having trouble and we will do our best to help.


Electricity, Charging Station:

There are outlets located in the Lobby by the Food Court, as well as some outlets running along the walls of the venue. The performance area outlet is reserved for the performances only.


Food Concessions:

A variety of options at the Arena Snack Bar, including pizza, hot dogs, chicken tenders, french fries, wraps, popcorn, ice cream, drinks, as well as vending machines.

Stepping out is no problem! Simply show your badge / wristbands to re-enter the event!

Water Fountain:

Bring your water bottles to fill up at the water fountain, located next to the vending machine and Arena Snack Bar.

For our Staff, Volunteers, Guests, Workshop & Activity Presenters, we have a staff room with nourishments located in the hall behind the workshops.


Accessibility:

Our event and venue facilities are easily accessible for physically challenged and wheelchair friendly, with lots of free onsite parking and handicap spots available by the event entrance. All event space and activities are located on the main first floor, easily accessible double doors leading directly into the event. Service dogs are welcomed.

Restrooms:

Restrooms are easily located near the entrance, next to the Snack Bar, and are equipped with handicapped stalls. Hand Sanitizing Stations in Lobby, Workshop & Performance Areas.

Tables are refundable up until 30 days prior to event. If unable to attend, please notify us asap by email.
Tables may be transferred to next event if space is available, but must notify us prior to current registered event.
If we don’t hear from you / no-show at event, will not be able to transfer table or refund.

Tickets are non-refundable, but can be given to friends or family if unable to attend.
Workshops and activities included with admission to the event. Programming & exhibitors are subject to change.
