Cassidy Wasserman is a cartoonist living in the woods of Maine, where she works from her home studio and runs kids’ comics classes at the town’s tiny library. Her debut graphic novel, On Guard (Random House Kids), launched in June 2025, and she is currently working on the next installment.
In addition to traditional publishing, Cassidy has illustrated children’s books for two successful Kickstarter campaigns, created freelance comics for all ages, and is developing a webcomic. Cassidy has also worked in the game industry as a UX/UI artist. When she’s not drawing, Cassidy can be found fencing, taking agility classes with her dog, or exploring new creative projects.
