Reviews

“Kids Con is awesome!! It’s hard to raise good nerds if you take them to a con and there is no place for them! We love Kids Con!” – parent at Granite State Comic Con 2015

“We had a great time today! The kids had a lot of fun, and enjoyed all the drawing, coloring comic pages, and Star Wars (lightsaber fights, and R2D2). The artists and creators that you picked to be on artist alley were spectacular. Each was incredibly patient with all the kids, and pleasant towards them ‘just looking’. This alone made it worth the trip as some of the larger Cons you receive a lot of negativity if you have kids that love to look. The kids costume contest was great as well, and it really gave each child their moment to shine without rushing them through it. A wonderful event, and a great day. Thanks Kids Con!” – parent at Kids Con New England, 2016

“Very well done! My 3 daughters had an awesome time and they were still talking about it at bed time. The vendors were all appropriate and engaging. The drawing activities were very cool and the kids loved Jedi training. The kids kept talking about how funny he was and it was great for them to get the energy out.” – parent at Kids Con New England, 2016

“My nine year old said it was the best con she’s ever been to!!
To be able to have a wheelchair with us and a stroller we thought would be a challenge (can you imagine Boston Comic con with a stroller and wheelchair??!!) the organization of the con made everything so smooth! She is already hoping there is another one next year! We had a blast! You all did such a great job characters and crew! Our family had a great time! Artists alley was packed and hoppin’ which is always great! The activities were much enjoyed!”- parent at Kids Con New England, 2016

“What an awesome day! My son loved meeting his favorite super heroes and the Jedi training sessions were fantastic. The teacher gave 30 kids ages 3 and up light sabers and managed to keep them calm, involved, and beyond excited all at the same time! That man knows how to use the force! The price was great, especially because my son is only 3 so 4 hours of fun was about all he could handle. We drove 2 hours from South Eastern Mass to come and we will be there again next year!” – parent at Kids Con New England, 2016

“My family loves Kids Con! This was our favorite convention because of the kids activities!” – parent at Northeast Comic Con, 2015

“Emily agreed to be the head of Kids Conn at Hartford Comic Con this passed year and did a phenomenal job!! She was well coordinated, had activities planned and special guests to entertain the children.” – Kim Shaw, 2014

“Just wanted to let you know that we had some of our best memories of GSCC at the Kids Con. And the super hero panel was the best one I have been to!” – J. McDowell at Granite State Comic Con, 2015

“Kids Con is an awesome place for the kids to hang out and do fun activities! I especially love the facepainters! :)” – parent at Granite State Comic Con, 2015

“The Jedi Training was awesome! Kids having a blast and parents enjoying watching! Great mix of ages, too!” – parent at Vermont Comic Con Jr., 2015

“Emily is an amazing illustrator and is the driving force behind many of the Kid Cons (held in conjunction with larger events like Hartford comic Con, Granite Con). She is a wonderfully friendly advocate for children’s creativity. Her well organized event schedule allows for children of all ages to enjoy the comic book creation process. Without her input and guidance, Kid Con would certainly not be the joy that it is today.” – Bob Shaw, 2015

“My kids loved the drawing lessons and coloring tables! Bring back next year!” – parent at Vermont Comic Con Jr., 2015

“The kids zone is awesome. It’s wonderful to have activities to take my son to within the comic con. He enjoyed the cartooning class very much. I will defintately take him here again next year.” – parent at Granite State Comic Con, 2015
